THE WADDLER ROOM

Our Waddler Room is your home away from home for your 18-24 month old. This room offers the children a wonderful, easy transition from the Infant Room to the world of a toddler. At 18 months our children are excited to move on to a room with new toys to explore and opportunities to learn, be challenged and become more independent.

This program offers the children a nice time to transition from their cribs and high chairs. They can begin to learn self help skills, participate in circle time activities, do arts and crafts, play outside on our age appropriate playground and socialize with friends.

THE TODDLER ROOM

The primary goal of our Toddler Room is to provide children between the ages of 24 months and age 3 a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment to learn and grow.

The children learn socialization through cooperative play. This is a pivotal time for children to learn to share, take turns, transition from one activity to the next and to verbalize their needs. Our teachers are caring, fun, energetic and nurturing. They teach through gentle reminders, positive reinforcement, role playing and redirecting.

Our Toddler Program consists of a balanced schedule that is designed to prepare the children for preschool and a life long love of learning. A day in the Toddler Room will include free play, story time, music and movement, art activities, fine motor activities, field trips, outside play, nature walks, potty training, lunch, snacks and nap time.
