Programs & News
Preschool & Child Care Center
Creative Learning Preschool and Child Care Center enjoys celebrating families.  We have several family events that we celebrate together throughout the year.  An Ice Cream Social, Thanksgiving Feast, Holiday Open House, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day Tea, Father's Day Barbecue and End of Summer Family Picnic allows time for the parents, teachers and children time to socialize together.

A Mother's Day Tea Party was a favorite time for the children to tell their mom how much they loved them with homemade gifts, cards and decorations.

Another family event, an Easter Egg Hunt and party, was a great time for the children, parents and staff.

Family Functions

Six Pillars of Character Development

At Creative Learning Preschool, we take pride in what we teach the children.  Children will be introduced to the six pillars of character development - trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.  Daily and monthly lessons are taught on these important character traits.  Older children will work on activities that show real life examples of displaying good character such as holding food drives, adopting a family during the holidays, being role models for the younger children and many other activities.

Snacks and Lunch

We provide 100% juice and nutritious morning and afternoon snacks. Parents provide lunch with a beverage, formula and/or baby food.

PEANUT AND TREE NUT FREE FACILITY
As of January, 2015, we have eliminated all peanut and tree nut food items from our center for the safety of our children with life threatening food allergies.

Curriculum

Our staff is certified in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.

Our nurse consultant visits our center weekly to go over any concerns or issues related to child health, nutrition and safety. We also have an educational consultant, social worker and dentist available to offer assistance.
During your child’s day there is a balance of structured and choice activities, as well as a balance of group activities and individual time.  Outdoor activities are provided on our own playgrounds and field trips are a part of our program. Each program provides your child with emotional, social, cognitive and physical opportunities for growth.  Your child will engage in many enrichment opportunities such as music and movement, character development, introduction to Spanish, and field trips. Other classroom activities include art, science and math experiments, story time through books, puppets and flannel board, cooking, circle time and gross and fine motor development.  Please ask your child’s classroom teacher for a list of goals and expectations for your child’s program.  A fall goal setting conference will be held in October for Preschool and above and a Spring assessment conference will be held in March.
